Justice Skinner Therapy
Registered clinical counsellor, Vancouver. Books through her own scheduling system, and the site sends people straight to it.
Web design for Burnaby, Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
$250 to build. Live in 7 days.
Half the usual $500 build fee, because I'd rather you were serious than free. It covers your domain for the year, and your first month's hosting is on me.
Reviewed within one business day, either way. Not live in seven? You get the $250 back. Terms.
Business name, what you do, where you work, a phone number. Two minutes, on your phone, sitting in the van.
One page. Loads fast, looks right on a phone, drops enquiries straight into your inbox. You get a look before it goes live, and one round of changes.
One link that does the job. Van, card, bio, poster, invoice, quote. Off your list.
No discovery call. No strategy session. No forty minutes on Zoom while someone asks about your brand story.
One page that says who you are, proves you're real, and points at everything you already run. Your booking software. Your shop. Your music.
I don't rebuild those. They already work better than anything I'd make. I build the front door.
Your site gets built so Google can actually read it. That part's free, and most cheap shops skip it entirely. Ranking above the other six plumbers in Burnaby is ongoing work, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
Nobody can promise you a spot on Google. Anyone who does is lying, and you should hang up. What I'll promise is that nothing technical is holding you back, that I'll tell you straight what's working and what isn't, and that the report takes two minutes to read. If that's not worth $299, don't buy it. The site's fine without it.
A counsellor, a realtor and a stand-up comedian. Different worlds, same job: one page that makes you look real and sends people where they need to go.

Registered clinical counsellor, Vancouver. Books through her own scheduling system, and the site sends people straight to it.

Real estate advisor, Edmonton. Listings live elsewhere. This is the page that makes people call her.

Stand-up comedian. Tickets, tour dates and streaming all sit on other platforms. One page points at every one of them.
I'm James. I build websites in Burnaby.
That's the whole company. No account manager, no sales team, no "our team" that turns out to be three contractors in a group chat.
You get my number and I'm the one who answers it. If something breaks at 8pm on a Sunday, I'm the one fixing it. Solid reason for me to build it properly the first time.
The catch: I take a set number of builds at a time, and when I'm full, I'm full. That's why there's an application instead of a buy button.
Burnaby, Surrey, the Tri-Cities, Richmond, the North Shore, out to Langley. Same time zone, same area code, same rain.
$250 once. $59 a month after the first one. Two months free if you pay yearly. No hourly billing, no invoice that turns up and ruins your Tuesday.
Your site and your enquiry data sit on Canadian servers. Fast for your customers, and a straight answer when someone asks where their information lives.
Two of the three sites above, in their owners' words.
I needed the site to feel calm and trustworthy before anyone books a first session, and that's what I got. James asked good questions, wrote the copy better than I would have, and left my booking system exactly where it was instead of trying to rebuild it. Done inside a week.
Justice Skinner, RCCRegistered clinical counsellor · VancouverEverything I had was scattered across about five different links. Now it's one page that sends people to tickets, the reel and the podcast, and it actually looks like me. Fast, no fuss, and he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.
Dino ArchieStand-up comedian · VancouverThere isn't one. I build one kind of site, I've built it a lot, and I don't bill for meetings. That's where your money goes at a normal agency. Three people on a call, nodding.
I don't do it for free either, which is the other half of the answer. $250 is enough that you'll send me your photos and enough that I'll do it properly. Free work gets treated like free work by both sides.
If you want hand-holding and a slide deck, pay $3,000 somewhere else. You'll get it.
$250 plus tax to build it. That covers your domain for the first year and the work. Your first month of hosting is free.
After that, $59 a month plus tax. That covers hosting, SSL, backups and small fixes. Pay yearly and two months are free.
Six-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' notice. That's the whole price list. There isn't a second page.
Live within 7 business days of you sending your details and photos. Usually sooner. If it runs over because your logo took you a week to find, that one's on you.
No. Tell me what you do and who you do it for. I'll write it, you approve it. Most first drafts I'm sent are three paragraphs about a passion for quality and a commitment to excellence. I'll spare you that.
On its own, no. A website is proof you're real. It isn't a machine that prints customers.
If your Google Business Profile has four reviews and one photo from 2019, fix that before you fix anything else. It's free, it takes an afternoon, and it works better than anything I sell.
Yes, and I'll tell you which half of it is worth paying for.
The groundwork comes with every site and always will: verified in Google Search Console, sitemap submitted, indexing confirmed, tags and structure done properly. That isn't a premium feature. That's just building the thing correctly.
Past that it's ongoing work. Watching Search Console, keeping your Business Profile alive, adding pages for searches actually worth chasing. $299 a month plus tax, stop whenever you like.
What I won't sell you is a $2,000 retainer and a dashboard full of numbers nobody acts on.
No. I filter on how complicated the site is, not on your job title. A plumber and a four-piece need the same page: who you are, proof you're real, one obvious way to get hold of you.
Booking through Jane? Selling on Bandcamp? Already running Shopify? Keep them. They're better than anything I'd build. I link to them and make them impossible to miss.
Yes. Same design, stretched to five pages. Home, about, services, service areas, contact. One-time $499 plus tax.
Dashboard access on request. Nine out of ten people ask for it and never log in. That's fine, no judgement.
Because $250 doesn't cover a week of my time, and I'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise. It takes about six months of hosting before a build stops being a loss for me.
After six months you're month to month, 30 days' notice, no questions and no exit fee. If you want out on day one because I've made a mess of it, say so and I'll refund you.
You get the $250 back. The clock starts when you've sent me your details and photos, not when you fill in the form. I can't build a page around photos I don't have. Past that, it's on me.
Me. James. One guy in Burnaby. The same person who reads your application, writes your copy, builds the thing and picks up the phone when you ring. You'll never be handed to anyone, because there isn't anyone to hand you to.
Fair question. Most people are too polite to ask it, so I'll answer it anyway.
Your domain gets registered in your name, not mine. The site is a set of files, and if I disappear tomorrow you can hand them to any developer in town and be running somewhere else by the end of the day. Ask for everything and you'll get it. No hostage situation, no exit fee, no thirty-day sulk.
It's your business. I'm just hosting the page.
Not for this package. Skipping the meetings is the entire reason it's $250 and not $3,000. Send the form. If something genuinely needs a conversation, I'll ring you.
Anyone who needs the site itself to take money, run a calendar, or hold logins. Anyone with a forty-page sitemap. Anyone who needs it Thursday. I'll say no and point you at someone better suited. That's cheaper for both of us than finding out in week three.
I'm in Burnaby and most of my clients are within an hour of it. The work happens over email and phone, so anywhere in BC is fine, but being local means I know the market you're selling into.
Outside the Lower Mainland is fine too. I've built for clients in Edmonton and I'll work with anyone in Canada.
I've done this a lot. You don't need to explain yourself and your business isn't a special case. Take that as a compliment. It's why this is quick and why it's cheap.
No meetings, no upsells, no bullshit.
"I'll sort it out later." You said that last year.
Two minutes. I'll come back within one business day and tell you yes or no. Registered BC businesses are usually approved.

Not sure you're a fit? Read this first. It takes a minute and saves us both an email.
Four short pages. Two minutes. Nothing is charged until I've said yes and you've said go.
I'll only use your details to reply about this application. See the privacy policy and terms.
